Hello, I'm Abbey! I am a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with a passion for communication. I grew up in Utah, and met my husband there during college. Together we have two adorable girls. I attended Brigham Young University for part of my schooling before transferring to Utah State University to complete my Bachelors Degree in Communicative Disorders and Deaf Education. I continued on to receive my Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology with a Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) endorsement from USU. Clinical experiences while in Utah included school-based therapy, outpatient speech and feeding pediatric therapy, and home-based early intervention. Additionally, I provided in-home and in-preschool therapy for children who were Deaf and Hard of Hearing, which deepened my passion not only for my D/HH clients, but also for parent coaching and functional communication. From Utah, my husband and I moved to Southern Idaho, where I worked in outpatient pediatric speech and feeding therapy, as well as school-based speech therapy. My family recently has relocated to Aroostook County. Although I lived in Utah most of my life, I was born in New Hampshire, and I'm excited to connect back to my New England roots and get to know this great community!
